What are those slots for ?

I have an '04 V. When I open the rear door, to the left close to the aux. power supply there are two slots. What are they for ? Is there something missing from my trim or are they there for an option I don't know about ?

I would bet those are for some accessory or snap-in compartment for other world markets? Is this where the first-aid kit or flares or red triangle reflectors go maybe?

Don't know but I would like to find out. It would be a good place to put my first aid kit instead of hanging it from the back of the seats.

We store all of the "stuff" in the tub, under the picnic table. Everything from jumper cables, blankets, gloves, rain ponchos, first aid kit, tow strap....

That wet storage tub is great and huge I never realized howbig it is I can wait to go snowboarding and have an area to put my muddy boots without mucking up my trunk. I put books for school in there people at my school will break into your car for stuff like that so I enjoy it being hidden plus unlike a cover people really don't know the compartment exists when I go to the Gym I throw my computer bag in there I feel much better about it then trying to hide it by a jacket or under a seat.
