Hi...
I had my valves checked on my '99 CRV (126,000 miles). They were tight (don't have the #'s, paperwork is still at the garage). They adjusted them to the loose side of the range now, and I could tell a difference the second my engine was running. It's making quite a TAPPA TAPPA TAPPA sound now. I can't believe the difference.
In the owner's manual, it says to adjust them if they're noisy...That's backwards!
