hi,
can anyone tell me where to get after market 07 front cr-v grille that doesn't have the honda logo on it?

Also, can the cr-v badge at the rear be taken without it leaving a mark? by that i mean is it just double sided taped or is it embeded to the body of the car?

Thanks

Ken

Have you looked at cloud-rider.com? I am not sure that they have 07 grills for CRV. But you may get a lead from them.

I've seen that site. the design isn't to my liking though.. i just want something simple and without the "H" :)

You looking for a billet style? Are you wanting to cut the H out completely? I know some grills require it.

Cloud Rider usually has their grill cover go around the "H".

Try with a thin nylon line (i.e fishing line), use that as a saw behind the badge.

or dental floss! that's how i got all my xb badges off when i had my xb.. shouldn't be too different with the honda badges.

Every [H] badge I've seen had 2 pins in addition to the stickytape. So yes, it'll probably leave two tiny holes.

If you try the dental floss trick to remove the emblem - do it on a sunny warm day. It will soften the glue.

I don't know if there are pins or not.

You can also have a custom grill made or do it yourself.

Or use a hair-dryer on the badge to warm it

sorry people, it's not the H that I want to take out but the CR-V that i want to take out. I am afraid if i take the CR-V out there might be holes after that. Has anyone done it before?

The CR-V Emblem dosn't have holes behind it, it's just 3M adhesive. Like stated before, use dental floss after heating the emblem up with a hair dryer and then carefully pull it off.

Also, if you want a better looking grill with no logos, take a look at the Mugen grills. Although pricy, they are definitely worth it. Check out Kingmotorsports(dot)com and go under CRV>Aero. The grills come unpainted, so you will need to have a shop match it.

Or, you can do a DIY Mugen grill job on the OEM grill. It's quite easy, all you need is a dremel, bondo, mesh, and some moderate DIY skills. But, just as the Mugen, you will need to get the grill repainted.

The Mugen CR-V roadstar adds edge to Honda's SUV - Autoblog (http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/12/the-mugen-cr-v-roadstar-adds-edge-to-hondas-suv/)

O.K.......

Then how does one go about removing the original grille? (Are we talking about the chrome piece with the Honda emblem??? Seems to be just stuck on there....)

Also.....

Where does the dremel / bondo come into play?
