A few days ago I did all my shopping on the internet and phone for a new
2007 Honda CR-V. I made the deal over the phone. After a few days the
check came in the mail from the credit union and I went out a few hours ago
and picked up the CR-V and drove it home. This will be the last time I drive it for a long time because this is the wife's vehicle and I drive my motorcycle year round (as long as there is no snow on the road). I was going to buy a
Ford Escape but when you are doing research about vehicles and see all those
good remarks about Honda, enough said.

Tom, congrats and welcome! Glad to have you here. Be sure your wife joins us as well...since she's the lucky driver! :)

Congrats! I know the feeling I just picked up my 2007 CR-V on 8/19. This appears to be a great forum with tons of good info.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum! Its great to have a fellow citizen of magnificent south western Pennsylvania--misery loves company.

Use caution getting on "America's super highway", the illustrious Pennsylvania Turnpike. The V doesn't quite have enough oomph to handle the 20 foot accelleration ramps. But you will find the handling to be an aid in avoiding the pot holes, and the stiffer suspension to absorb those you do hit. You can't miss them all, there are too many in our lovely Commonwealth. Its great to know that PennDot and the Turnpike Commission are doing their best to break-in the suspension of our cars.
