2005 Rear Bumper on a 2002?

The bumper on my 2002 CR-V (black unpainted) needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if the black unpainted bumper from the 2005 model, which is slightly different (see rear reflectors for instance) and seemingly nicer, can be installed on the 2002 model? Perhaps the rear wheel fender surrounds (black plastic trim) may also have to be replaced as it does connect/touch the bumper. Anyone with experience in this matter?

Hi Westbank, I work for a Honda dealer and took some time comparing parts between the 2002 and 2005 Crv's. I am 99% sure the 2005 bumper with bolt on with the proper hardware ( only a few clips are different.) I cant be certain about needing to change the wheel arch trim without seeing them side by side but there is a good chance you should be able to re-use them.
