Hello everyone, I am new to the CR-V and the owners club and just wanted to say thanks for the wealth of information on here and for making my buying experience a little easier. I thought I would post and tell everyone about my purchase.

I took receipt of my new 2007 CRV 4WD EX-L (w/o Nav) in Black on Black on 8/22/2007.

I went the Internet Price Quote route and got quotes from 8 dealers in Eastern PA/Western NJ. Very few were willing to discount the CRV more than about $500. However, I got a great price (I thought) from Ray Price Honda in East Stroudsburg, PA and ended up working out a deal for one as follows:
$24,995 (w/ Destination) - No accessories
$835 - 5/100K warranty
$1549 - Sales Tax
$108 - Tag, Title & Fees
Plus a very good 60 month finance rate.

No other dealer in the area could even come close. I hope the information helps.

Take care, Chris.

Congratulations on your purchase of your new CRV. I had a similar experience when I purchased my EX-L (w/o nav) back in March. I paid roughly the same taking into account being from a different market. Good luck with your new CRV. The CRV's pretty much sell off the truck in my area. With so many sales, there isn't an incentive for the dealers to deal much.

Hey everyone, just picked up my new V last week. 2006 EX-L 4wd 29,000km paid 27k canadian It is awesome, and im glad i chose to buy the 06 rather than the 07, i test drove both and it seemed that the 06 styling is better and is actually roomier for myself in the front seat (6'4"). I just hope it can keep up with our canadian winters! well wait and see. Thanks to everyone on the website for all your helpful information, it made my decision alot easier!

I suspect that you will be pleasantly surprised by how good the CR-V is in snow. It's really what the RT4WD system was made for. Vs are OK in moderate off-roading (no low range) but they really shine in the snow. The fact that they are primarily a FWD vehicle with an assisting rear drive axle makes them very sure footed even when traction is suddenly lost. I have had mine in 12 to 14 inches (check our "Off The Beaten Path" forum) without a problem. Don't skimp on the snow tires and your V won't let you down.:D
