I have a 07 CRV EX-L w/ NAV. Any suggestions on a speaker upgrade. It sounds ok now but if i can make a $200 to $300 upgrade and have it make a significant difference I'de love to do so. Any suggestions?

Try www.crutchfield.com for upgrade speakers--they don't have an exact fit for my EX, but say that 6.5" or smaller will do, although I assume smaller will require some adaptation.
I'm concerned about the actual process of replacing the stock speakers in my 2007 CR-V EX. The speaker grille appears molded into the door, so I assume that the door panel must be removed for access the to the speaker.
Does anybody have experience removing/reinstalling 2007 door panels? Was it easy enough to recommend? (I'm reasonably handy, but not a body/interior expert.)

I tried it on my 2007 cr-v and found out you have to take out the whole door panel. What i would recommend that you go and get speakers in the back hatch that is what i did and sounds better and was not too expensive it was like 380 (i went to the hood and had a friend hook me up) it would have been more otherwise. But i got it to fold out when the hatch is opened and now when i tail gate at school it is the hit of the party.

I removed the driver side door in my 08, and I assume that it's similar. There are three screws. One is in the the handle behind the window controls, the cup like handle. There is a cover that has to be popped off and you will see the screw down in there. The other two are on the larger handle that is in front of the window controls. They are each covered as well, one at the top and one at the bottom of the handle. You should see the notches in the covers. The black plastic cover that is on the inside of where the outside rear view mirror is must come off. I believe there are two clips holding it in place. Both of them stayed in the door when I popped it off, but the were easily taken out with some needle nose pliers and replaced. My CR-V is less than a month old, so the door panels where a bit of a punk to get off from there. It was just getting the plastic clips to want to give. You have to pull the panel away from the door starting at the bottom and working your way up. At the very top, you have to lift the door panel out of the door.
Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/) offers a generic speaker installation guide that has some value if it is something you haven't done before. You can get the PDF here (http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/pdfs/amp_guide.pdf). Hope this helps. Thanks.
