Bumper fender removal

can anyone advise me on how to remove the bumper and passenger fender on a 2000MY CRV? thanks all.

Have never pulled a fender, but the front bumper is reasonably straightforward.

First remove the grill, which is held on by five screws -- four on top, one beneath-and-behind. To get the last one you'll need a 12" philips-head screwdriver, which inserts through a hole at the top of the grill piece.

Once the grill's removed you'll see a series of five or six retaining clips that fasten the top of the bumber to the body. The heads are round, plastic, about the size of a quarter. Ignore them for now.

Next remove a series of screws and bolts (perhaps six total) at the bumper's sides and bottom. All are readily visible and accessible. Once these are out, gently pry the above-mentioned plastic clips loose with a narrow flat-head screwdriver. A few may break (they're quite brittle), but new ones can be had at any Honda service department for cheap. It may do to stock-up on a few beforehand.

Now the bumber should pull off easily. Though lightweight, it has bulk. A firm grip is recommended to keep it balanced while in-hand.

To reinstall, reverse the steps.

Pull the bumper off using Bush's instructions, then for the fenders, there are a series of bolts along the top under the hood, 1 under the outside corner of the headlights and 1 at upper rear of the fender in the door jam and another one at the lower rear I think, there is also 1 under the factory side skirt(this one is a Pain to remove, the others are fairly easy with a 10mm gear wrench). The ones in the door jam are a little tricky to get back in without stripping them.
