A few new/newly designed vehicles are coming that may cut into new CRV sales. I wanted to gage everyone's opinion on if you would entertain the idea of trading in your CRV on these newbies. Also, if anyone actually test drives one of them, let us know how it compares to the CRV
1) Nissan Rogue. More power, better performance than the 07 V, similar price. More amorphic (less classical) styling than the V.
2) Scion xB. Much more power than previous model, and more than 07 V. Better performer, but no AWD option at this time. Styling isn't as "in-your-face" as previous model. Some don't consider it in the same class, but shoppers will no doubt opt for a cheaper more powerful version of the V.
3) VW Tiguen (I believe is how it's spelled - not Toureg). US gets a 1.8li Turbo, power should be more than the 07V (those little 1.8s can put out the torque), but interior styling is lack luster, as is VQs recent quality & reliability. Pricing should be more than a base V, but with a turbo engine, will it be worth it?
Outside the US, many places will get a supercharged AND turbo charged engine. How will that compare to the V diesel?
