Looking to get a set of all weather floor mats -- anyone have experience with either the Weathertech or Honda all-weather? The Weathertech appear to be a few dollars cheaper, but i like the way it appears Honda's second row is one piece that goes all the way across. Just curious for anyone's use of either product. i used the search function for previous posts but came up with nothing. this will go in our 2003 EX.

thanks!

I have the Honda All-Weather mats for my 2007 CRV. I am very happy with these and how they keep things clean and are easy to rinse off. The rear mat is in one piece that goes across the entire back of the 07 CRV. I looked into the Weathertech mats before I purchased Honda's. They looked alright but wasn't completely sure if they would have an exact match to my CRV. Just didn't want to take a chance if the engineering of the mats were slightly off. However, this probably is not a big concern if any. I ordered my mats online and received a good price at www.hondafloormats.com (which is owned by a Honda Dealership). Should check out H and A to see what prices they have as well. The price that I paid beat the dealership by a wide margin. Hope this helps

Roger that -- I was leaning more towards the Honda mats, i've already got the cargo mat. I'll give my local dealer an opportunity to excel, if not, I'll order from H and A -- i've had great luck with them in the past.

Appreciate the input.

I can't speak to the WeatherTech's because I have not used them but I do own the all-weather Honda mats and love them. They keep the slush and gunk in the mat area (for the most part) and they are heavy enough that they don't slip around at all.

I just got the Honda mats last week and absolutely love them.
I ordered my extended warranty through Bernardi's in MA and they
sent me a coupon for $30 off accessories, so I ordered the mats
from them.

I have used both Honda and weathertec mats and i prefer the Honda mats for fit and the fact they don't move around. I still use the weathertecs in my Accord....i have had them for 9 years and they are a little faded but have held up pretty good abuse i have put them thru.

106 for a full set isn't so bad I remember seeing a few years ago this product it was a clear plastic which wa sticky on one side so you could cover your carpets completley if you were going to get the floor dirty for example if you go skiing

I just bought a 2007 CRV and immediately went on the hunt for accessories. Since my wife and 5 year old both create complete messes, I needed something to protect the new vehicle.

I have had a Weathertech trunk liner in my old Acura Integra and it has held up well for 10 years. When I take the liner out, the trunk looks brand new. So I looked at the Weathertech site to see what they had for the CRV.

I highly recommend the Weathertech cargo liner over the Honda one. It actually fits the back area better than the Honda one. Also, instead of the all season cargo mats, I went with the full liners for the front and back rows. They fit perfectly, covering the entire floor, and have a 3-4" lip on them so if liquid does get on them it won't make it's way to the carpet.

If I were you, I would visit the weathertech site and input your car info. It will show you all the products for that specific vehicle.

I bought Rubber Queen mats for my 99 CR-V including a rear cargo mat. Other than the brand name, I have had no problems and they are still in service. I think I paid about $100 for the whole setup. Check em out.

I bought a set of the Honda all weather mats from Hand A. They fit & look good, but they seem kind of flimsy. I don't know about the other brands because I have always just bought generic mats at the autoparts. The one thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the mat does not extend under the gas pedal very far. It looks like slop could drip off the pedal on to the carpet below.

I ordered WeatherTech front and rear mats for my '06 V. The fit was terrible. I called them and they said that they are really a universal fit and I had to trim them if I wanted a perfect fit. Hello? The ad said 'custom fit'. So sent them back. Reluctant to try order anything again.

However, the floor liners look promising.

I have bought Weathertech mats and I absolutely love it. Fit is perfect and mats is staying in place being both kept by hook on floor and raised edges agains body panels.
Priced in line with OEM I consider it way better - OEM are just flat rubber.

Hey got another question I recently messed up the rear carpet mat moving a 250 LB HDTV so I am looking at an all weather mat (carpet doesn't look horrible, just one little section where the carpet fibre was ripped from the glue bottom of the mat) so I am looking at all weather mats, They have a sale at H and A for about 50 bucks you get the OEM Honda all weather rear cargo tray or weathertech for 107, from what I hear the Honda tray is a bit flimsy but it looks as though it would fit well for daily use while the weathertech seems more rugged and better built but 50 bucks more, what do you think would be better figuring in this will be my primary mat for the cargo area so I need access to underfloor storage and and a friendly material for regular bags.

My Weathertech had embosed areas for the front loops. I simply cut them out with a knive and the mat fits perfectly. It must be that some users do not wish to have the loops exposed, so Weathertech made it an option.

I've been looking for these weathertech floor liners for a while now but I can't get them here in Taiwan for less than $230! Now thats a huge mark-up. I've been looking for a site that ships internationally and JCWhitney does but they only stock the mats as opposed to the liners. I want the liners for the edge to catch all that crap everyone will drag into the car. I emailed weathertech but I'm still waiting.
Does anyone know a good site that ships internationally or can anyone even recommend a few more online stores other than the ones posted in this forum already and I can check em myself

Oh and I just remembered that my interior is ivory. Does any company make floor liners to match ivory?

just got weathertech mats for my 04 EX MT, but unfortunately they don't actually make correct mats for the MT model! :( So I have to floppy bits that should connect in the middle where the shifter is. I'm going to keep them - quality is very high - and just deal, but I wanted to point out this quirk. Their website allows you to select MT or AT model, but in actuality they don't make a separate MT one.

I definitely should also point out, their service was excellent - they expressed remorse and sent a prepaid shipping label so I could return the mats at no charge if I wanted to. I guess they don't get many MT CRV orders.

I have a full set of Weathertech/MacNeil in an 01 which have fit nicely and worn well. The floor and trunk mats. No heel holes or scuffs. So I put front and rear mats in an 03 Pilot (but not the trunk area since at the time we were
using third seat to haul daughter's friends around). Ditto for performance. CRV has 178K miles, Pilot 148. So when my wife decided she needed a Volvo, I went that route, too (front, rear and station wagon trunk). Too new to test, but the quality is there, too. I did have to cut (with scissors) a piece out of the rears but its along a cut line anyway so even a klutz like me could easily do both in about 5 minutes. The trunk mat fit beatifully in both vehicles.

Looks like they are designed for the models w the full center console. On the models with the fold down center table, the carpeting between the front seats isn't protected? That seems like a prime area for spills.

I just ordered a full set of WT liners for my wife's new 2009 LX model. The cargo liner just arrived, the front and rear liners just shipped. I'll try them out, but I'm not sure yet if I'll keep them. For that amount of $$$ for a custom fit liner, WT should have coverage for that area beneath the fold down table.

I've looked at pictures of the WT mats. I really don't know the difference between "liners and mats" other than the way they look. I do know that the liners are WT DigitalFit which costs more than the WT Mats, because the WT DigitalFit liners for the back seat is one whole piece instead of 2 separate pieces.

So my questions is this: Alll I care is about dirt and spills, and making sure an 11 year old, a dog, and a messy mom:D This is my first off the lot brand spanking new car and I want the best to take care of my new baby:p

Second question: The car came with a black Honda cargo mat/lliner(?). It looks nice, but I was wondering since the whole car's interior is gray, what would still look better having black or gray mat/liners? Does anyone have pics of black mat/liners inside the seats to show? Thanks for any help or suggestion.

P.S. Ox-2: I just found a thread about a group buy for WT products (if they could get 40 buyers to get 25% discount). I emailed the person on the thread to check to see if they were still looking for buyers. Just a FYI.

mats are basically flat pieces of rubber or carpet mats. liners are usually bigger than mats and they are shaped to fit like a glove. they will fit/go over every curve/turn/bump that you may have on the car's flooring.
usually, liners are the best option because the fit is really nice and they don't slide around and pretty much seals all the corners. if you look at the pictures posted above, you see how the liners are like a tray and it will catch the dirt/water.

as for which color is best, personally i like black. easy to clean and you dont have to worry about the color fading or getting dirty. :)

Just placed Honda all weather floor mats (purchased via H&A) in my new 09 CR-V EXL. Not a floor liner like WT but was quite impressed with the area covered by the floor mats, the only area without great coverage was near the gas peddle (considering the Toyota floor mat issues that probably is not a bad thing) What I was surprised with was the thinness of the floor carpet when I removed the factory supplied carpet floor mats-this floor covering looks paper thin) This is my first Honda, is this typical of their floor coverings? My previous Santa Fe , Grand Cherokee's and Cherokee had much more substantial carpeting installed.
