Hello All. Noob here. I just picked up a '98 LX from the dealership where I work part time. Question- I bought a cargo cover off EBay. The listing stated that it was for a '97-'01. It came in today and I tried to put it in. Now, maybe I'm an idiot, but I can't seem to figure out how it "stays" in the rear closest to the hatch glass. Anybody have any ideas?? Thanks!

Hi:

I bought one of these off eBay a few months ago and installed it in my '99 CR-V EX. The Cargo Cover kit consists of the cargo cover itself, two brackets that get mounted in the wall on either side of the cargo area, and instructions + templates for installing the brackets.

If the cargo cover you purchased did not come with brackets, instructions, and templates, then perhaps it was intended for someone whose car already had the brackets installed by the dealer, i.e., they just needed to replace their broken cover.

The kit that I purchased didn't come with good instructions, but I found a .pdf online that explained how to install the brackets. It involves removing the side panels from the walls of the cargo area so it takes a bit of work. If you need the instructions, post a reply here and I'll see if they're still on my computer somewhere.

Good luck,

Oliver
