hardwire Valantine One radar detector in '07 CRV EX-L w/nav

Has anyone hard-wired a V1 into an '07 EX-L w/nav and, if so, how did you do it?

I have not, but I've installed V1s in about 5 cars now. It really has always been the same.. pretty easy except for locating the 12 volt acc power line. For that I just stick a hard sewing needle in the wire I'm looking at and use a multimeter to check the voltage. I always use their (Valentines) connectors, buying new ones if I move the device to a new car. It's always been mostly painless. You can use any 4-wire telephone cable if you need something longer than they give you.

Why poke a wire? Honda's have a spare circuit available for you in the fuse box. Buy an "Add-a-circuit" or similar from any parts store and plug it in.

when i get done with all my other upgrades, I'd like to add a V1 with the Remote Display.
