I am thinking about getting these. Does anyone have them. What do you think? Does it help with noise and rain?
Also with installation, how easy is it? Should I do myself?
Should I get factory or some 3rd party. If 3rd party, any suggestions?

I've got an aftermarket set on my Element and I love them because I like fresh air and I like keeping the rain and "stuff" out at the same time. When I park somewhere, I can also keep the windows cracked without the worry of someone trying to get in or do anything with a normally-visible cracked window.

Cool, thats what I want. Rain keeps dripping right into my window controls, cant help think that is so horrible.
Where did you buy your visors and how much. Did you install yourself?

I just put a pair on two weeks ago. Not rocket science. I think it took me about an hour to install all four. I had installed a set on another vehicle I had and it was just as easy. I also looked on a website that had a video tutorial, but the directions are pretty much to point. :D

Don't know your year, but HandA has the installation instructions for the Honda visor right on their website. Here are the instructions for the 07.

I got the Weathertech ones. They suppose to just snap on. I hope they are just as good as the Honda ones. Will let you know.

So I got the Weathertech Window Visors last night and installed them. They installed in a snap. Just press and push. Can be taken off and on anytime. These were $100 compared to the $130 for Honda versions.
I never used or seen the Honda version so I cant make comparisons but here is what I think of the Weathertechs.
First off, they install inside area where the window slides into. Is this the same for Honda ones? This causes some fitting issues, I had to play around with it a bit for my windows to close right. It seems ok now for the most part. Once on, you can hardly tell they are there, they blend right in and unless close, you cant see them, this is probably do to the fact they are smaller and sleeker than other ones. That has its advantages and disadvatages. Looks are very nice. They are very strong and seem durable. I guess its fine.
Cant wait for it to rain now.

i got weathertech window deflector/visor too. both front and rear sets are in-channel, except for the rear end of the rear deflectors that are exposed and are held by a black metal.
our vehicles have window visor because we don't want to close the windows while smoking on rainy days :D

Well I have been noticing now with the Weathertechs, is that the windows dont close the same way. They are effected by the visors slighly. Do you see the same thing? I wonder if any long term effects there will be with that.
Also I didnt use the metal things cause it didnt seem to fit right with them on the back ones. Without them, it seems ok, did you use them. You think I need them?
I think I will keep them cause probably not worth the trouble of returning, but wondering if the In Channels are bad for my windows.

before i installed the visors, i put tapes on the window glass (i put mine in line with base window sill) to mark the original position/height of glass before the visors were installed. after i installed all the visors and closed the windows, all windows seems to be closed properly since the tapes are showing up the on same position before installation. though there was resistance initially when closing the windows, but after 15-20 window up and down (while pulling the visors outward), it became normal again. we only had the visors for two weeks, and i think it's still holding up fine without the resistance in closing any window.
as to the "S-Clip" of the rear visor, yes i used it. the bigger opening of the clip is supposed to be inserted between the rubber and the door metal, while the smaller opening of the clip will hold the exposed visor. if you didn't install the "S-Clip" what is holding the exposed rear end of you visor? the only thing in the rear visor is there will be a small hole/opening in the rear corner. i'll try to take a picture when i get home for lunch today.
a couple of problems i can think of for in-channels:
- it may scratch the glass edges if the visors are the thick.
- it may expand the rubber channel (dunno the term) where the visor is located since it will now accomodate additional thickness.

Maybe I need to play with it more, but I feel like I did play with it like you did enough. The driver side seems better than the passenger side for me. I am starting to accept the slight movements of the window. All windows close just fine and all the way, just a slight movement on my passenger front I cant seem to fix. Oh well.
In the back, I know what you mean about the opening. I feel it may not have effect on much. I didnt use the S bracket, I just snapped in like the front and it stays in place.

lolz wife not around, got no visor to take picture. geez! :D
anyway, yeah i didn't think the small opening could affect the purpose of the visor, it's negligible (at least for us).
snapping the rear end in the channel like the front could also do.
both driver and passenger front visor stay firm in my case, maybe it will do same for you over time... especially when dust settles in between eventually :p
don't worry about it, it will be fine, i hope for both our visors :D

Hey you know what, I went out during lunch to mess it more. I noticed it wasnt gonna get any better plus I noticed noise coming from my window rubbing against my the visor when i was driving and this only on the right front side.
So I called Weathertech and told them about it, they gave no hassle replacement and was gonna fedex a new right side front to me, but I said I would pick it up tommorow cause they are close to here.
I think something is wrong with my front right side, hope my new one fits like my driver side. At first I thought I was being way too picky, but something's not right with that passenger one.
Also it finally started rainning here during lunch. Finally been rain tested. nice.

So just got back from Weathertech. Very helpful there.
I got 2 new front visors. Realized my driver side was cracked too. They both fit better now. The guy actually put them on for me. Also told me I should use the s clips for the back and put them on for me also.
So will see how things go from here. Everything looks good now.

I had tried these on 2 of my Civics...2006 and 2007 and will never use these again. I liked the way they looked and an they were useful. They are small and slim and slip inside the window channel. But, they scratched the glass due to debris getting between the glass and visor when rolling the window up. This really made me mad and I called WeatherTech about it and they were no help. They were installed properly and cleaned the glass and the window channel before installing. I will stick with OEM Honda.
