Honestly Honda's are really well built you don't have exposed metal in the cabin and thy cost much less who careswhat it looks like under your gas flap.

if you ever go to replace that portion of the fuel filler/gas filler assembly on your lexus, be prepared for a whole new rear quarter panel, as it appears to be stamped as part of the sheet metal. Either that, or expect more than $1000 worth of body/work.
With the CR-V you can expect much less.
