Ok so I got my pretty 04 CR-V about 2 weeks ago not scratches wich surprises me in NY. ANyways I picked silver because if someoe keys the car it isn't noticeable. TOday Ifinally find a spot for my car and notice a 14 inch long scuff or scratch a few inches below the rear drivers side door It wasn't anyone who keyed the cr because it wasn't really a scratch it was a black line that looked like paint maybe another car hit me, however it was pretty far up. SO I start rubbing away and I seem to be making some progress with rubbing my finger and building up fricition with my finger about 20 minutes in I stopped I was making really slow progress and was afraid of attracting attention from the local JHS kids I don't want to be seen as the guy who is anal about his car because they will polly key it first. ANyways is there any tried and true way to get rid of this faster I was thinking a shammy or somehthing that build fricition and need some cleaning product to do the rest, anyhelp on what that produc should be I tried the Eagle 1 glasstuff but that didn't doanything. Sorry about the long message I maybe will post a pic.

Clay bar. Use plenty of lube. Do not use your finger.
