I got a tip on mop and glow from a friend who told me if i clean the black plastic bumper on my 07 v it shines it up and tried it today and it worked really well. Just figured i'd pass along the tip. it also doesn't attract dirt and dust like the plastic polishes do.

I would assume any painted area it contacts would have to be re-waxed though.

Probably better off using bumper and trim protectant that's made for a car....no, not just being a sheep but they usually hold up better to repeated exposure to UV radiation which bleaches it and keeps it sealed.
