We don't have running lights on our V's here in US as you do from factory. I am trying to make my '06 have running lights using the Canadian hook-up. If you know of the supplier or part number please let me know. Always loved my GM cars that had them as standard equipment. I turn on my headlights or parking lights on those two lane side roads for safety. I must be a wiring adapter, need it and directions. Thanks eh.

It's not as simple as just hooking up a relay...
Daytime Running Lights actually run on reduced voltage on the high beam circuit.
You would need about 5 relays, a switch, some diodes, some wire, an accurate wiring diagram, and some time...
I don't know if the wiring is even remotely similar to the Element, but here's a how to do it on an E:

I'm sure there's someone on here with CRV wiring experience who can look at this, and figure out how to do it on yours...
NOTE: This is NOT instructions on how to do this modification on your CRV, simply a link to how can be done on a similar Honda SUV.
Maybe this will help...
