I just bought the 2007 CRV - fully loaded. When I was drivvving around 50-60 mph I started getting a flickering noise from passenger side inside. Its almost as if a piece of paper was blocked somewhere and the wind pressure from outside was causing it to fliker. Honda dealer couldnt find it and suprising I havent heared it last couple of days.
While looking for where the noise is coming from, when I open the front doors, I noticed that Honday is using regiform placed between the body metal and the inner chasis. I was surprise that it was just normal regiform and from the side its facing to anyone opening the door, honda didnt cover it up. My question is that this regiform being open like this, could tear off and will look ugly with time. Has anyone noticed this? Would be curious to know. I sure hope this is not just in my vehicle!
When you open the front door, look atthe door higher area - its not part of the door but the front body just adjacent to the door frame.

I realize the OP asked about this quite some time ago, but I just have to reply.

I don't know what regiform is, but if it's that black colored foam stuff then yes I've noticed that too. Bugs me cause I don't see insulation showing in other people's vehicles (non Honda). Screams cheap money saving cut there. Definitely NOT COOL!

I haven't noticed any paper flapping noise coming from that area.

I do have massive paper flapping noise when the passenger side window(s) (front or back) is/are down and going at medium and high speeds. The paper that makes noise in my car is attached to the rear seat belt when it is not being used. I just don't have those windows down in those conditions so the noise doesn't happen.
