Extremly pleased with current 2000 CR-V. Went to trade for 2007 model and found that rear access door lacks a removable window. May be a deal killer in buying a new 2008. I am often going to Home Depot and have a couple of 2x4s sticking out hte rear window. Also to put lawnmowers in back and it is handy to have the Will this message get to a honda

I have to admit one of the big things I hate about the new hondas is the lack of that feature it becomes invaluable if you have the car loaded to the gills. I have an 04 and hate the New CR-V to curvy for me although I like conservative styling I want a car that won't look to dated in 10 years.

Did you know that an 8 foot 2x4 will fit inside the 1st gen V with all doors and windows shut? :)
