J.D. Power and Associates on Wednesday released its annual survey of vehicle dependability based on questionnaires sent to owners of 2003 model-year vehicles.

The list includes the top performers and runners-up in each category. MAV, or multi-activity vehicle, refers to sport utility vehicles and crossovers.

So what? Both are reliable cars (along with the Forester).

Back up the JD Powers findings by reading the Consumers Reports owner survey results for that vintage of car, you can't really go wrong with either make.

Of course you're right, Carbuff. All three are excellent vehicles. It's just that on that other forum there always are so many negative comments about the RAV, and almost everything not made by Honda. :D
