WHOO HOO!!! I am SO excited! We ended up with a 2008 because 2007 LX models are thin on the ground out here in Vegas, and none of them are in the beautiful Green Tea color my husband and I had our hearts set on.

I had three dealers fighting over my business (thanks to the wonders of Internet car shopping and e-mail) and ended up being able to give the business to the gentleman who initially turned us onto the CR-V two weeks ago. Out the door, all taxes and fees included was $22330. That includes three years of basic maintenance as well - and they knocked an additional .5% off the best financing offer I had. (I'm getting rid of my 1999 Altima through CarMax who has offered me 5x what the dealers are offering.)

We picked her up on Tuesday night after work and have just over 100 miles on her as of this morning - lots of friends to show her off to!

Thanks to everyone who's answered questions for me so far... and now I have two more fairly general ones: What should I know about breaking my new lovely girl in, and where is the best place to look for after-market accessories? (I'd really like to get a cargo mat for the back cargo area, and a cargo cover if possible.)

I'll be getting pictures this weekend of my lovely new girl. I've already planned my first road trip to show her off to friends in San Diego for Veteran's Day weekend!

Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations! I remember your posts leading up to your purchase.

You don't need to do anything special for break in. Don't try to find out how fast your V will go and try not to let it sit idling for an hour. In short, try to avoid driving extremes. No early oil changes or special maintenance are required. (BTY your salesman should have told you all this.)

One of this forum's sponsors is H&A Accessories. They have a section in the forum devoted to communication with them with a link to their web site. They are always a good place to start.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures. In the meantime, enjoy your new CR-V. Have fun.:D

Thanks! Actually, that's exactly what my sales guy said, but I thought I'd read somewhere in here about special things I was supposed to do break in my new V.

I'll check out the H&A section. Tonight after work I'm going to my favorite custom decal shop to look about getting some decals made for her.

Pictures for sure this weekend - after her first car wash since it's been so dusty and windy here this week!

:D
