I'm not actually in Chicagoland, but I was a member of Chicagoland Accord Club and I am willing to drive to hang out! We used to meet in Schaumburg about once a month. I met some really cool people there. If there's a chicago meet ever, I would want to be there!

My wife and I just picked up a used black 97 CR-V with black tints, roll bars, and spoiler for a real good price. I wouldnt mind a meet. Any locals in Chicago know of a good place to pick up more mods? (in dash kits, black tail lights....)

Sounds like you have a decent start on mods already. Post some pictures of that V with some local-to-you scenery in the background. Soldier Field, Navy Pier...for ideas. Chicago has many picturesque areas due to that beautiful lake.

So far this has been the best/snowiest winter since I got my first sled as a kid in the mid-1970's! :D

Out here in Aurora. Just picked up a 2009 Green Tea CR-V LX on July 31 using the Cash for Clunkers program. We just needed a reliable 3rd car to replace our 98 caravan for occasional use and hauling stuff. This was the best of all the cars we drove. :)

Car's going in to get windows tinted this week at Z-Tech plus getting the roof rack and splash guards installed at dealer. :D

I look forward to learning more stuff about the car on this forum. :)
