Does anyone have experience with a Laser sailboat on a CR-V roof rack?
Any advice will be appreciated.

The problem with anything tied to roof racks is the wind getting under the thing and the force ripping the attached and rack off. To prevent this tie the front of the boat to the front of the crv using a cloth rapped around the rope where it toches the paint. Anchor it to the under frame and do the same to rear, otherwise when you put the brakes on it will go foward. This should stabilize it assuming you have anchored it to the sides of the rack also. As for the mast,if it fits inside with the sail do that. If not tie it to the rack with rubber straps very tightly so it won't move. If it hangs over rear more than 4 feet put a red flag on the end.

The lines go on the front and back to under the car, and where do they get anchored there?
Thanks

Crv's are not all the same,so find a spot that is not plastic. If you remove one of the bolts holding the plastic shield and replace it with an eye bolt,(with washer to the plastic) then thread rope through. Use two anchors to create a center anchor if the holes are not in center of vehicle. Get the same thread or you will strip the socket. Bring the removed bolt to the hareware store and ask them to match the thread. Get stainless steel eyebolts and washers. Make sure the bolt is going into steel not another plastic mounted nut.If the eye bolts are longer,or the plastic is not seated use a nut and washer(s) to tighten at the eye of the bolt. You can use a clip on the end hooking to the eyebolt if you tie one on to the end of the rope. Draw tension to the roof mount or go around the rack and boat then hook to rear anchor drawing tension as you wrap the boat. Rope can be placed from the front to rear rope to the roof rack but use one each side to insure the boat has same tension side to side to prevent it from shifting in wind. If you can install eye bolts or have a cross member on the boat wrap rope around it, reverse the rope (loop it) so it is stable or tie knots at cross members on boat. Note after you drive a distance the ropes may need retightening especially if it rains,as some ropes strech. If you want a great look and prevent paint rubbing off slide a piece of your choice of color hose over the rope where it rubs vehicle tape it to the rope so it won't slide around. Once you get this set up you will have a quicker safer load up and removal. If it still jumps around use two ropes forming a V from boat to outboard front and rear anchors on the vehicle, try to make them even from center of vehicle. Good luck SAIL ON!

Don't know about the roof rack - don't have one. CR-Vs have always had transport tie down loops welded to primary structure on both the front and rear. They are easy to reach and make good tie points for securing things to the roof. There are two loops on the front and one on the rear. You will have to bend down to see them but they are obvious if you do.
