Instrument panel light question?

Hi, my friend this morning found a light on her gauge that she didn't know what it ment. She asked me why it was on and if i knew what it was. I too did not know, it was under the speedometer and the light was (!) like that. Can any1 please fill me in on what that light means?

That's for the TPMS, when one of your tires is low on air, that will light up. Your friend might want to check her tires.
