Worth the extra MPG?

i've got the factory roof rack on my 03 which i've not needed and probably won't need in the near future. My question -- with gas at $3.00/gal again, is it worth it to pull the cross bars off for the sake of improved fuel economy? we'll be taking some holiday trips in the next few weeks, so now would be the time to do it.

thanks for your input.If the cross bars drop mpg by .05 of 1 mpg, I would be surprised. Keep them on.
