Anyone as found a charcoal activated that would fit 2007-8 CRV
When charcoal activated you do not get to smell diesel, dead skunk's revenge
I would like to find another car's filter that is and that would fit our CRV
If I recall correctly (and please double-check, or chime-in if I'm wrong), the 2003 Accord cabin filter will fit the '07 CR-V.
Amazon carries FilterMaster activated-carbon cabin filters for the Accord, but they're about 40.00 Each (!). This vendor also carries FilterMaster and provides a deal on a 3-pack purchase:

** You'll note that the Accord cabin filter measurements are provided on the website. You might want to pull yours and compare the dimensions to assure a proper fit.**

I just pulled both the Accord and CRV filters off the shelf and yes they are identical in size.
Thanks for checking. I'd think the '03 Accord Filters are probably cheaper (...and easier to find in an aftermarket brand) than a '07 CR-V filter. ;)

Anyone find and use an Activated Carbon/Charcoal Cabin Filter?
If so, how well does it work for you?
Thans a ton!:D

I've been looking for charcoal filter myself as well. If Accord filters fit CRV then acura filters will fit too and it "might" be of better quality, but I suspect they are the same regardless.

Speaking of filters, my 07 CRV has about 34,000 miles and is recently emitting a musty odor form the ac vents. Any one else? Any solutions? The owner's manual says to have the dust & pollen filter replaced periodically, but to me dust & pollen don't = musty odor. THanks.

Sometimes the drain for the AC gets clogged and mold and stuff grows. Park and leave the AC on for a few minutes and check to make sure you have a a puddle of water on the ground near the front of the car. If not, your drain may be clogged. This is a generic problem; I don't even know where the drain is on a CRV, but probably in a place that's difficult to get to.
