I have a 2008 EX and have never used my iPod in the car. How and where do I hook it up? What kind of adapter/cable do I need to get? Thanks much!

All you need is a mini stereo cable like this one for a basic setup. One end plugs into the aux jack on the dash and the plugs into the earphone jack on the i-pod. You wont be able to control the i-pod with the radio controls but it will play thru it.

There are cheaper cables....this one is just an example i found on line.

You can aso use a Belkin car kict which will charge the i-opd while you drive. You will still need a mine stereo cable as well as the car kit.

Just one modification to what lizzurd said -- your EX has an AUX port at the back of the fold-down tray table, next to the power outlet. I plug mine in there and just lay the iPod on the table. I bought the Belkin cable at WalMart for about five bucks.

I'm still waiting for my wife's new CR-V to come in and was thinking of adding a MP3 for her use. I know she'll never remember to take it out and recharge, so does anyone know of an iPod or MP3 that has a separate earplug & power jack?
That way she can just keep it plugged in all the time.
