Performance Mod! ~ Time to reduce that unsightly looking wheel gap! :p I noticed that Eibach doesn't offer a set of Lowering Springs yet for the '07+ CRV ... but H&R does ... Part #51822 lowers the front 1.4" and the rear 1.3" ... ahhh just enough ... Has anyone here Lowered their V yet? ... Pictures? http://www.hrsprings.com/scripts/appguide.php?Mode=Make+Guide&SubMode=Find3&MakeID=13 ... Just trying to see if the CRV could be a more SPORTY SUV! I'm sure its been done before, hopefully by a member here who could share PICS & thoughts. CRV 1997-01 Sport Spring 1.4 1.3 29506 $329.00 ... CRV 2002-06 Sport Spring 1.4 1.3 51821 $329.00 ... CRV 2007-up Sport Spring 1.4 1.3 51822 $329.00

i think lowering the cr-v is a great idea
it could be an awesome honda sport suv
i got my V 2 weeks ago and am searching for a good kit
intrax also offers a lowering spring that goes a little lower
h&r makes a good product
i am considering it seriously
and please no haters
my V never ever goes offroad
i traded in my modded gsr :( and
i got it to haul around my handicapped son
no worries
happy motoring all :D

I just did mine yesterday, what a ride, smooth and tight. I had them on a 99V I used to own, and now on a 07Lx. Once again H&R did not disapoint me.:)

This Morning around 6:00am EST there was a big band of thunderstorms that rolled thru here, as far north as Fort Pierce and as far south to the entrance to the Florida Keys. Anyway as soon as it passed I went to Bill Baggs State Park and took some more pic's.

Ah, you have a sharp eye, it's real simple, just go to your local Honda dealer and order the chome grill inserts that are meant for the crv-EX and swap'em out.

And through experience with a Prelude and an old 280z I have found that I prefer the ride/handling of a lowered car. Did you have to replace the factory shocks with some heavier duty ones? I did this on both of my other rides to control the choppiness of the underdampening of the stock shocks. Did it affect your camber? How will it affect the four wheel drive system?

it really depends on the road, rough/bumpy road more feed-back, and the performance of the old spring vs new one, it's like night and day, the handling is sharp and precise with a big reduction body roll. Stock spring are a little too soft for my taste.
