door frame.. is it vinyl?

Ok just a quick question, you know the black around the door frame, just wondering if that's vinyl or not... on my xb i had vinyl around the door frame and removed it and exposed the door paint. even though if it is vinyl it is black I would much prefer the shiny paint rather then the vinyl... anyone know?

I think the reason you didn't have any responders is that the pics were not showing. I was able to fix it for you.

I think that piece is definitely plastic.

thanks for the fix... everytime i went to the forum the pic showed up for me :confused: lol anyway i know they're vinyl... now i'm just trying to figure out if the door frame is painted the factory color before i rip that vinyl off ! :eek:

I think it is vinyl. I was cleaning my windows today (2005 EX) and I thought I saw a flake of paint hanging over the frame. After a closer look I realized there was a small notch out of the black and that it just looks like a decal.
