Hello everyone, I'm Jean and this is my second 1st Gen CRV. (I totalled my last one) I'm in the middle of a good few winter projects for it, but below are some recent pictures on a nice cloudy New England Day...
Mods: Oil Catch Tank (custom), Crank breather, Cold Air Intake, 99 Prelude Rims (5 - Gunmetal powdercoat), Mugen Style Grill, Mugen Resovoir socks (2), Integra Rear Strut Bar, Integra Coil Overs (4" drop), 9.5mm Wires, Apexi SAFC II...
Winter Project: Jackson Racing Supercharger w/Intercooler & BOV (Pshh!)

Looks pretty sweet, I like the black on black combo, good luck w/ your winter projects. Did you paint your headlights? The V looks mean

Hey thanks for the props! I used vinyl that I cut and stuck to the headlights to make "custom eyelids" and make it look mean. Looks great at night! Although the pictures suck due to a poor camera, the rims are actually gunmetal. Its a bit hard to tell.
I just got the supercharger in the mail today. Gotta get a few more peices before I can drop the car off for a weekend.

Thanks guys, I'll keep you all updated on the winter project as it begins. I just got the supercharger yesterday, and happened to ask my local Honda dealer how much it would be if they installed it... Yea, needless to say I could purchase a Civic for that labor price. Going to some speed shops around town.

Where did you find one of the now rare JRSC's? Dang. That's a perfect mod for the 1st gen! :)
Lucky You.

Yea I'm really excited about it. I found it on ebay. A guy was selling one for a Non-Vtec B18 motor with really low miles on it. I still have to get some other pieces before I start the install though. (belts, pulley and such) But I also got the intake mani for JR and an Vortech FMU too! Got it all for $500. I'll keep you all posted on when I get it all installed because I'm going to have it tuned also.
(TMAC I haven't forgot you man, just been busy - this week I promise!)

Yea I've got some. The weather has been horrible up here in CT, so they aren't clean shots. I plan on taking more this week now that I have my Mugen Valve cover installed.

The exhaust tip is stainless steel. Polish it and it will look like chrome, except better. It won't rust.

I don't think I've posted this here yet, but I have installed my B18c1 Head on my CRV. So now its one of a few 1st Gen's with VTEC. Its running great, sounding pretty loud, and I'm loving every minute of it! I'm taking some pictures today since its finally a sunny day in New England, and I was lucky enough to finally wash the snow off my car yesterday.

Here are some shots I took yesterday. Still not sunny in Connecticut, but at least I got a day or two that my car wash lasted.

Nice! What kinda power are you getting with the GSR head? The wheels look great, but you oughta swap em around so they all face the same way. Your FL cuts to the front, but the RL cuts to the rear, and the passenger side is completely opposite.

Hahahaha!!! Man, good catch!! I had started rotating the tires this weekend and only did half of it because it got cold and dark on me. I didn't even think about how they are opposite, LMAO!! Thanks Justin!
In April I'm going to Long Island to a shop to get it dyno'd. I'm really excited about it. My mechanic says I should be between 180hp and 210hp. Really thats plenty for me, but next year I think I may go turbo... (I love the sound of a blow off valve)

Lol, no prob. I went through the exact same thing when I bought my Prelude...unknowingly, my first set of pics showed off my whacky wheels...

Nope, sold the Lude last July or so. I wish I could've afforded to keep her.

I like that headlight "glare" on the Black cr-v, as well as the grill... I ahve never seen a grill like that yet.

Sweet ride.
Hey, I have that supercharger your looking for. Hit me up if you are interested.
If I had the money for it, I'd buy it. But I think you have the LS charger for Non-Vtec. I need the VTEC charger.

I love the gunmetal prelude wheels they really look mean. The mugen grill is very cool too. I kinda always wanted one but I don't think that it will look so good on my V.

I saw one on Ebay, but it was called a JDM grill. It looked pretty much the same and they wanted $35 for it. Have not seen one for the second gen yet, except for billet grills and those A-Toy body kit people. Those kits are really big and bulky and not very pretty.

Yea that's the seller I got mine from on eBay. Matter of fact two of his pictures are from me. I've had it for just over a year, snow in and snow out and its still in great shape. It will be even better once I paint it and the rest of the car.

My V's being painted right now. Won't get it back till Tuesday this week. I still like it, and I really wish they'd make a grille like that for the 02. Not just that black honey oat mesh grille. I just re-finished my entire stock grille to be completely black, except for the "H" logo. Plus, I found that the 1st gen grille is not convertible to 2nd. Tried a little experiment. It would ahve worked with bondo and other things, but the mounting was going to be an issue.

Now that would have been very interesting to see done. I applaud you for trying though. Post some pictures after your paint job. I'm jealous already!

I'll post them the second I get home with the car tomorrow. That is, if they will be done tomorrow like they said, I'm assuming they will. I dropped it off on Thursday, and they said it'd be done Tuesday. I still have the 1st gen grille somewhere in my garage. It fits pretty well, but like I said, no way to mount it.
