Is it possible to play a DVD on the CR-V's nav system. I know on some cars you can add an adaptor so this can be done. New to Honda and not sure if this is possible. Did a search but could not find anything. Thanks.

No it's not possible and plus it's illegal I believe. Just get a flip down monitor with built in DVD player like I did.

Welcome to the forum! :)
The key is that, even if it is possible, you do not want to open and remove the NAV DVD unless you really have to. The manual is very clear that it was not designed to be opened and closed on any sort of frequent basis.
With that in mind, note that the after-market option would require you to add a separate DVD player to the system.
