Honda’s stepping it up a notch with the all-new 2007 CR-V compact SUV. The numbers may read like this vehicle is underpowered, with only 166 horses under the hood, but the smooth, standard five-speed automatic delivers steady performance. There are three trim levels: The base LX comes with all the basics; the EX gets a moonroof, 17-inch wheels, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, and an upgraded sound system; and the EX-L gets all that as well as leather seats, heated front seats, satellite radio and an optional navigation system.
