So, I know how to get to the maintenance minder menu where you can adjust the temperature and reset the oil life, but I never chose the blinking "Oil Life" or "Cancel" because I'm afraid of what will happen if I choose either of them.

Will pushing the button when "Oil Life" is blinking simply take me to another menu where I then have the option of resetting it (I'm assuming this is the case) or does it reset it as soon as you push the button (doesn't seem logical but I figured I'd ask just in case)? What does it show when you do click on the "Oil Life"? Will it show recommended maintenance sub-items based on the current mileage even if the oil life is at, say 90%?

And finally, does the blinking "Cancel" simply close out the menu when you it's highlighted and you push the button?

Sorry if these questions have obvious answers. I just don't want to reset my oil life until I really need to. Thanks!

Once you have 'oil life' blinking, press and release the select button. The display will change to the oil life screen and the oil life and any relevent maintenance codes will be flashing. As long as you don't press and hold the select button while viewing this screen, the oil life won't reset. Just cycle the key to exit.

Yes, when 'cancel' is flashing, pressing and releasing the select button will exit the function.

Once again, Honda Tech comes to the rescue. Thanks! :D
