gps/sirius/etc

my wife wants the sirius radio...and i was going to get her that and gps..but not in dash..just wondering if anyone has any pics of where they installed these at... i was thinking about putting either the Gps or Sirius up top in the sun glass holder...any ideas? any pics would help..thanks...

What year CR-V?

For a clean install, and depending on the year of your V, you may need to wait for aftermarket add-ons if you want to do an overhead install like that. Which is something that may never come.

Of course, if you know a good body man that's worth his weight in gold at molding fiberglass you may be able to have something custom made. Ask around at body shops or people that you know that do custom hot-rods, etc... Maybe someone will surprise us and give it a shot. If it looks cool there may even be a market for it.

Only drawback is the GPS may not be user friendly up above your head in the overhead console, and a radio might not be all that attractive. I kind of agree with Honda's placement. I like where mine is right in the dash.
