We took delivery the latter part of November on our 08 EX-L CR-V. Overall we are very impressed with the quality of the vehicle. Most of the nice to have standards features (auto headlights, lighted vanity mirrors) have been mentioned in other posts, however both my wife (primary driver) and I agree it would be nice to extend the center console to meet up with the dash. Those storage holes under the shifter aren't really good for much of anything. If they were a flip out container, then one could throw their spare change in. This goes for the one to the left of the driver as well.
Another option that would be nice to have is a power outlet on the rear of the center console so you don't have to leave the top open or add a splitter for the kids video games.
The 08 also has a power driver seat. How hard would it be to have memory added to the seat so it adjusts to the driver?

Welcome to the forum! :)
The CR-V is an entry level vehicle in North America. In Europe, it has MANY additional features and is priced accordingly - as in VERY HIGH!
I have been to Columbus dozens of times - post a few pictures of your V with some cool, local-to-you, scenery in the background. Ohio State? Ohio hill country?

Will do on the pictures. Right now the V has a coating of road salt due to our early snow and sloppy rain. Not many hills by us unless you count freeway access ramps :)) We'll have to swing by the Shoe this weekend for a few shots once I get it cleaned up.
As for the V being entry level, Honda is doing it right. We looked at the Rogue and the Vue before buying the V. Quality, features, fuel economy and price left all others in the dust.

I am waiting for my CR-V right now. I am glad there are many of you who did a great deal of research before buying this one. I also did consider few others but shocked at how the Kia and Hyundai weren't that much cheaper. I have no idea how they expect to sell their cars alongside Honda at that price! I can imagine if theirs are considerably cheaper ($4k-$5k) but I don't think so.

Did you factor in resale value as well? Five years down the road your Honda will be worth $5,000 more than the Kia.
