European model has folding side mirrors! That is impressive! I think the European models come better equipped than the US models. I imagine you pay for that too. :D Thanks for sharing the NAVI shots.

Not many would sell in the US for that kind of pricing.

If you look at it another way, they DO sell them here in the U.S. but it's called the Acura RDX. There are people that DO pay that. :)

Picked up mine a week ago. Looking for excuses to drive it.
So many things to love about it. Like the Adaptive Cruise. That's going to take some getting used to :D
Cheers

Welcome to the club and good luck with your new V.
Adaptive cruise? Do tell! You will have half the North America V owners green with envy.
Post some pictures of your V in its natural habitat.
Again welcome to the club.

... Like the Adaptive Cruise.
That would sure allow me to nap more soundly during my daily commute.

Thanks for the welcome.
I'll be taking some pics this weekend after washing it, assuming it's not raining :(
Don't wish to hijack the thread so I'll post my pics later and talk in more detail about the adaptive cruise.

Hi DaveC.
It sure is a nice car to drive.
Sadly I couldn't afford / justify adaptive cruise at £2000 (4000 bucks) extra. I will have to live with normal cruise control, and buy a couple of bottles of champers a month with the difference!

Hi DaveC.
...adaptive cruise at £2000 (4000 bucks) extra...
For a device that potentiates less attentive driving in a country so congested, on and off the road, the manufacturer offers power folding door mirrors?
If driving experiences in the UK are anything like in the US folks are always diving between cars which with an adaptive cruise control (ACC) could continuously slow a vehicle with ACC unless you set the following interval to less than 1 car-length. I haven't tried a ACC system - but know that Toyota offers it at least with the Sienna van.
The following quote from Honda UK CR-V sales brochure:
"Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is designed to let the driver select the following interval between CR-V and the vehicle ahead when cruise
control is engaged. The system automatically modulates the throttle, and even applies moderate braking, if required, to maintain the selected following interval. Once the road ahead is clear, CR-V will automatically return to the driver’s desired cruising speed."
How frustrated would this make road-crazed drivers on American roads?
It appears Honda UK marketing geniuses are even better than American Honda at separating consumers from their hard earned cash...

I certainly wouldn't have paid the £2k premium for it on a new one, but I got a ten month old one with it already on for less than the price of a new one without it.
What I really wanted were the HIDs though, that's what swung it over the choice of colour on a new one.
