Hard Tire Cover

Has anyone come up with a fix to keep the hard tire cover from rotating? When I look at other CR-Vs I see that I am not alone with this problem.

Not a fix, but optical illusion
I took the Honda logo off... be careful if you try, it's easy to damage the paint if your not careful

Buy an anti-slip rubber pad from a dollar store. Lay it on top of the tire under the cover. If it's a thin one, you may have to double it up.

To keep it straight, don't open the back door - that's what seems to move it :D

Thanks for the suggestion of using nonslip material under the hard tire cover. I installed some and the cover has stayed straight for two weeks now.
