This is an excellent and standard crv not to be missed.
1999 Honda CR-V ES (Air-Con) with 116,000 miles. This is a non-smoker vehicle. It's in the best colour; metallic blue. It has TAX and MOT and will also be supplied with 1 month's warranty and a clear and valid HPI certificate.
A/c, e/w, e/m, e/sr, alarm and immobiliser, r/cl, pas, twin airbags, abs, alloy wheels, cd, fsh, hpi clear, etc etc.
The Honda boasts so many extras, storage compartments and comforts, even including a full size folding picnic table!
A full comprehensive service history, with the last service carried out on the 01/10/2007 by ABS Motors Ltd, a local 4x4 specialist. Including another 13 stamps in the service book, predominately by an authorised Honda dealer. This also includes the original service wallet, all manuals, service receipts and all old MOT's. So don't be put off by the mileage (which is about average), the service history of this vehicle shows how well its been looked after, you will be impressed. The cam belt isn't due for 30-40 thoudand miles.
The photos of the CRV show what good condition the vehicle is in, it has a few small stone chips, scratches and tiny dents caused by careless motorists when opened their doors, but this is to be expected on any vehicle this age. But the general condition is very excellent, a credit to Hondas build quality and reliability. The interior is immaculate, and I have recently added a set of tailored mats and a Kenwood face off CD player.
The car is in excellent condition, the rear Bridgestone tyres have approximately 7mm tread and the front Bridgestone tyres have covered approximately 1500 miles. The spare Bridgestone tyre has 8mm tread. This information is confirmed by a national tyres and auto care vehicle safety inspection sheet.
The Honda CRV is the most spacious and well thought out vehicle I have ever owned; the rear legroom can comfortably accommodate three adults, with enough headroom for the tallest of people. This is a great family car that will be missed. Current financial constraints indicate that we can only afford to run one vehicle, so someone will be getting a great, safe and reliable family car at a good price, that is cheap to tax and insure.
The following items have been recently replaced/changed by myself (a qualified aircraft engineer):
Rear differential oil - this oil will degrade over time and cause the clutch plates in the differential to slip and make a whining noise under full lock. Simply cured with £7 worth of Honda transmission fluid. This was purely carried out as a preventative measure.
Front and rear stabiliser links, a common problem on Honda CRV's.
Exhaust centre section.
Even with all of the common maintenance procedures carried out by myself and the recent service in October 2007, I will be supplying this vehicle with 1 months warranty, for added peace of mind. This will be activated upon receipt of the deposit.
