Thanks Mike and welcome to the site. There is alot of work in and much more to do. The list of mods than I have planned for the motor totals about $15K I am planning for a finish date of summer 2010.

There is always something to do, pictures to take or shows to goto. But the more work I put in the more I sacrifice things I want and the more I like the car and the more attention it gets when I drive it around.

About how much did the air cylinder setup cost you, I'm thinking of doing something similar very soon here. Are there any clearance issues when it's lowered?
Thanks,

Kage if I were to do it all over again I wouldn't get cylinders I would get strut bags. But I got my system for free with trade of my factory suspension, but have had to put quite a bit in fixing and replacing things. When I set it all the way down it actually sits on the front tires.

when you say fixing and replacing, what did you have to replace, I'm worried about clearance with the upper control arms up front hitting the tires when the air is let out. and thanks for making the decision for me between air-cylinders and air-struts.

I noticed that you had the air filter attached to the manifold; did you notice a difference in power?

I replaced ball joints and tie rod ends a few fittings and bought a couple spare cylinders and new valves, the only thing that requires modification for clearance is the upper control arm on the passenger side needs about 1/4 inch or so taken off otherwise it will bind inside the fender well when you let the car down.

Nothing over the old intake only difference for me is that as low as the car rides now I was picking up water somehow and it was just enough to make the car misfire badly so I moved it up there for the rest of the rainy season. Only other thing I noticed was a different sound under acceleration.

I noticed you put horns forward of the radiator. Do yours realy sound like a train, or do they actually sound like a semi? I'd like to get a set that sound like a train. Where'd you find yours?

I got mine from FMKustoms.com. Rick up there is a good guy, he can set something up for you or just get you a basic kit. As for the sound it sounds like a freight train when I hit the button. Although there is a drawback to the train horn and that is that they are very illegal on the street they can give heart attacks or even cause somebody to have an accident bvecause it scared them. I have seen this, I hit it at some guy who almost hit me, he was comming into my lane and when I hit the air horn he swerved fish tailed and hit another car just before he jumped the curb.
