2007-2008 OE Tires

Too bad the CR-V comes with an odd size of tire. Makes replacement an iffy proposition. Something more common could be chosen that would not adversely affect the handling.

Tire noise seems to be a common complaint, too. I understand that the manufacturers go with the low bid suppliers, and tire manufacturers try to make SUV tires look rugged. But geez, the OE Bridgestones are awful. I've had two people riding in my '07 ask if I had snow tires!

Same complaint here. I will be looking to replace my tires sooner than needed.

My 08 came with "Continental" brand tires. Very quiet and responsive. I've read elsewhere that the Bridgestones are very noisy.

I have the Bridgstone HT 470's and can say that they are just ok. This past snow storm they didn't fail in straight away performance but did "plow" through some of the turns in the 3-4" of snow we had. Today I was at my tire guy and I was down to 4/32nds at 25,000 miles. While he said that if it were spring he wouldn't recommend changing until next fall, since I was complaining it might be time for something a bit better. I had him order some Cooper CS4 touring tires that looked good. I get them installed on Feb 1st just before the long term weather is supposed to get bad again so we will see how the snow does. These were 155 each installed with all the goodies OTD.

I have Contis. My sister has Bridgestones Duelers. Let me tell you. There is no difference in noise level. This is comparing identical vehicles on the very same roads. I have also been in a V with OEM Dunlops on the same roads. Just as noisy as the others.

All OEM tires on CR-V's are SUV/small tuck tires made to the same specs. They look aggressive and are not quiet car tires.

Bridgestones get more complaints because they come on far more CR-V's then the others.
