Black Body Trim cleaning and protection

Hello. I recently purchased a glacier blue CR-V Ex model with fog lights and front splash guards. I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the forum, but I am having trouble finding it. What should I use to protect the black plastic exterior trim after washing? On the civic I just traded in, I just used Armor All- with tragic results!

Also, what is the best bug remover on the market? Here in Florida we have a nasty bug infestation in May and September. And what is the safest way to remove stuck on bugs and tar without damaging the finish?

Congratulations on your new vehicle. Good color choice.

Can't help you with a bug remover, but I use Mother's Back to Black for the trim. It gives a nice soft sheen.

on the bug problem ( I also live in FL ) if you have time jsut use Meg. quick detailer and /or Honda detailer ( aerosol can ) if you dont the CLAY BAR is your friend
