I lived in Irving (Valley Ranch) and Addison (1/4 mile north of the airport) for about 5 years.... Was just there in November to visit relatives. In-laws have two 2006 V's. One is a Pewter Pearl SE and the other is a what-ever-its-called blue EX.

Go Cowboys!

LOL! I had a Porsche 928 and a Mercedes 300 turbo diesel when I lived in Addison. (ahhh, I miss the Pres. Reagan economy) Never any issues. My across the alley neighbor rebuilt a Stearman (biplane) in his garage when I lived there. The Addison police gave him a full police escort over to the airport when he had it done. The wings were installed in the road! He taxied it down Midway Road to Wright Bothers Road and over to to the Addison Airport on a Sunday at 6am. They were really cool about it.

I bet that stearman was beautiful too. My uncle and I rebuilt an original 1941 Cloudster for the past few years. Her first flight will be this Saturday, I can't wait.

That would be really cool. With such a slow stall speed, you can just slowly see the sights. They are quite safe because of the slow speeds, too. Take a couple of pics and post them. Maybe you can get your V next to it? That would make a neat picture.

I may have a few from when my uncle first bought it, I have to look. would be nice but I dont think the airport is gonna let me drive my car out to the tarmac though. Plus I would have to drive up to MD. I go up every summer to help him with it.

Welcome to the site Dana, Hope you enjoy it and find alot of information here.

2RedVs, I never could find those pictures of the Cloudster, I have been looking all over and even hooked up about 8 different hard drives to see if I had pics on there too, and nothing.

Chris_98_LX, are you doing all the work on your car yourself? I visited your myspace and looks you've done/are doing anything and everything to it. You must be having fun.

Yeah, I am doing my own work to it. Its been a work in progress for about 3 years now and has been alot of fun and very tedious at times but hopefully when its finished it will be a best of show car.

Welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy it and find some useful information or are able to help another member in some way. This is a very good forum to be on although while small we have several guys that are good with hondas and like to modify theirs. I am one of them.

We are the proud owners of a 2007 CR-V EX; Whistler Silver/Black Interior. This is our first CR-V, but have previously owned an Accord and Civic. We have not spotted many CR-V's around Orange...but once everyone sees ours they are gonna want one too!:D

I know this isnt the right thread really for this, but since you asked. I'll simply say I paid 200 less than MSRP, and then TTL on top of that. Pricing was a bit complicated by my trade value and the dealer fluff they tried to put on the invoice, as they wouldnt really budge on MSRP at all. I may post a big explanation in the shoppin and test driving folder. There's a thread in there on what you paid. http://www.crvownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1579

Hi all, first off I am a Brit but married to an East Texas girl. We live in the UK so a little out of touch with TX but I wondered what the general view of the CR-V is out there? I have always been amazed at the size of the trucks and 4x4s when we visit her folks and I wasn't sure if the CR-V matches the tough Texan appetite? She has been very keen for me to get an SUV so she can feel a little more at home so our new CR-V arrives tomorrow! Even got her a "Don't mess with Texas" bumper sticker :D

I will bet most everyone in the UK has no idea that "Don't Mess With Texas" means "Don't Litter". :)

In San Antonio. Hope that the Spurs can win at least one from the Hornets this week. Having been on the top for so long have forgotten what the downward side of the mountain looks like.

New CRV turned out to be a mother's day gift. My wife has let me drive it a couple of times this past weekend. Have enjoyed driving it so far, looking to get many more miles out of it before putting it to pasture. Present 2001 Accord 5MT with 120,000 still has original clutch & pressure plate, hoping to make it to son's late-1994 Accord with 164,000. Still getting 26+ in mixed commuter traffic. [knock on wood, just my luck I'll walk out tomorrow morning to find little bits & pieces on the driveway underneath the Accord].

Ah, yes I remember those days when George Gervin and company tried to go beyond the early rounds but could never muster it. I am very glad for the Spurs' success in the recent years as they are perennial playoff contender. I do hope Spurs win both games at home. I grew up in San Antonio. I hope that counts somewhat.

Good morning all -

I am a member on your brother forum. I joined here because we just purchased an 05 CR-V for my daughter. So far she is very happy with the car, and I'm hoping things continue that way.

We live in Houston, and as you can see from my sig, we are now Honda all the way.
