Alright well I have been extremely disappointed with the quality of my Honda CR-V especially the door rattle and buzz which is reminiscent to that of an old diesel truck name "bessie". I am having trouble removing the actual interior door panel to get to the vapor shield and bare metal in order to install Dynamat. Here is the schematic I will be referring to http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/2324/schematiczp7.jpg First I removed the 2 screws underneath the door handle but no matter what I did the handle would not seperate from the door. Also can I just pry off the plastic pin labeled 13, 15, and 16 with a putty knife. Secondly do I just pry off the window part labeled 5 & 6. Are there any instructions on removing the interior panel and can someone give me step by steps it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

sorry for your trouble
should be fairly straight forward
however those clips can require a scary amount of force to release from their hole:eek: . but thy should just pop right off, provided there are not any screws left
Did you take the door handle screws off: two #11 screws
they can hold up the process
When all screws and clips are released, the panel should slide up then out
then remove the wire harnesses for the different switches
Good luck buddy

So basically just unscrew the two #11 screws under the handles and pop out that clip and it sould come off. I was just futzing with the 2 screws to see if I could open the armrest seems pretty simple though if all you have to do is pop out the plastic clip. Thanks

Just search the panel for any holes/screws/clips underneath the armrest and along the outer edge of the panel: 11, 13, 18 i think
the diagram is a little confusing to me
Once all have been removed, use a dull screwdriver to pry along the bottom
and sides to pop the clips out of their holes.
you will not see these clips from the outside.
If something is still holding it up, check behind the speaker grills for more screws
If it pops off, take it off
let us know how it goes

Realize (and don't worry about doing it) that you will probably break many of the clips. Simply take one to a local AutoZone or similar and buy a bag of similar replacements.
