My first Honda and like the CRV 2008 but on any incline however slight it shifts down once and sometimes twice. Then maybe 50' it shifts back only to do the same thing another 50' later. Seems like a lot of shifting to me. My wife has a 2007 Rav and it doesn't do that at all only on the largest inclines. Is rather anoying on relative flat interstate. Maybe with more than the 1100 miles i have on it, it will get better. Other than that i like it. Others have told me this is normal and they all do it. I realize it is a 5 sp auto and the Rav is a 4 which accounts for some of that. The Rav does get a few more miles per gal so far but mine is not broke it yet. In the brochure it says the new trans. has a system to keep it from un neccessary shifting going uphill. Sure doesn't act like it to me. Maybe it will grow on me.
