Good evening all,
I own an '07 Tango Red EX-L with NAVI and I had my CR-V detailed about two weeks ago. The detailer used a "protectant" on the black bumpers and black side trim of the truck as well as the black dashboard and control panel. While at first glance my truck looked amazing, I almost freaked after I realized what he'd done because I was under the understanding that once you start to use these "protectants" you have to continue to use them to keep them looking nice. Does anyone know if the black color of these components will fade over time do to the chemicals in these protectants. If so, does anyone have a solution to "cure" the panels so that I won't have to continue to use the "protectants?" Any advice would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks,
DJACKS
