In a word NO. In real world driving, it will not get you more power and it will not increase your fuel efficiency. It may make you feel better and it might sound better but that's about all. Please do not take my word for it but do a quick search of the forum (K&N Filters). Also check some of the links referenced because this has been a widely discussed topic and some interesting, independent testing has been done.:)

tsmithvt is right on this.

Although I have them on several of my older, rarely driven vehicles, it is not because the K&N produces more power. I simply have it to avoid buying new air filters. I do not have one on either V because it doesn't make any extra power and I want excellent filtering on any vehicle that is driven daily over all kinds of conditions. My older muscle cars do not fit this category.
