I will be getting a 07 Ex-L in february or march. I have a 21 month old baby in a carseat. I was wondering if anyone out there has tried to put two carseats in the back? My dealer said that it could easily fit 3 carseats in the back, but to me that looks cramped. I will definitely have another child within the next year and a half. Do you think it could fit one in the middle and one on the side? If you have tried this, let me know. thanks!

Two carseats - yes, but that would be one on each side of the V. As to three? That would really depend upon the width of the model of carseat you buy. I bet it would be tight, IF it works. How would you reach over one to get to the middle car seat? SOunds like a bad back in the making.
Sounds like a mini-van would be the best bet for you. Sliding doors are much easier with little kids than regular stype opening doors.

Join www.hondasuv.com and do a search over there ... I seem to remember reading something about this.
I assume you only have the one child now? When you have the second, 2 carseats will fit. If you have a third child down the road, then I'm not sure 3 will fit. Not sure what method you use to attach the carseats, but I use the LATCH anchors in the seat base & there are only 2 pairs of those. Another thing to consider is if you have #3, then by that time #1 may be in one of the smaller seats or boosters that aren't as bulky... Unless of course you have twins next time!!!
good luck!!

On 2007 there are 5 latch points in the back. In order to install the infant seat at the center, the manual says to use the center one and the inboard right hand side one. The only problem with this is it makes the right back seat very narrow and the infant seat is not centered. Any one skip the center latch and just use both inboard left and right seat latches? that would make the baby seat center and both outboard seats usable. Is it ok or is it a safety issue? Some people said the seat structure might be designed to take the load that way but the only reason I can see is to make the left back seat foldable with the baby seat installed.
I would rather they switch the 60-40 split from right to left since we prefer the right back seat to be usable in US. I guess Honda keep the same rear seat same globally but design them based on Japanese usage which the curb side is at the left. Just like the tailgate of Gen1/2 CRV.
