Dealer wants to sell the SImoniz 5 exterior and interior protection system.
Anyone had experience with this? Seems like a scam to me.

According to Consumer Report pretty much any add-on services are the way to make money, and nothing else.
They are having enormous profits fro them - CR claims that even extended warranty is being sold at 50% margin!!!!
You can probably pickup a can of Scotchgard for upholstery for $5 and wax car yourself
I never hear about SImoniz, but its probably nothing else than that

thats what I figured. I've been checking out other car forums and get pretty much the same response. WIll call the dealer and decline this package.
