I have a 1999 CR-V EX and was curious what it would take to put in a VTEC head, like an ITR or CTR. Would it be about the same as an LS/VTEC swap? Would everything fit without fabrication? Anyone have any experience or know anyone who's done it? $$?

Take a look at: Crv + Gsr = B20/vtec - HondaSUV Forums - Discussion forum and bulletin board for Honda CR-V, CRV, Element, Pilot, HR-V owners (http://www.hondasuv.com/members/showthread.php?t=31175)
It's primarily the "Kidflavor" posts that will be of interest.

Its been a little while since I've been on, but I noticed your post. You've got a 99 and mine is a 97. Not much of a difference between us other than intake manifolds and engine compressions. Your block is still primarily a Bserise block so a B18C1 head (or C5 = integra type R) should work just fine. There are plenty of things you need though aside from just the head. Let me know if you're really interested in doing so and I'll email you a parts list.
