rust perforation warranty

Does anyone know what the rust warranty is on a 2002 crv,i heard it could be 5 or 7 yrs.Mine is showing rust on driver side inside drip hole of door,thanks

It should be listed either in the manual or in a supplement that came with the vehicle. I believe that the warranty covers "outer body rust perforation".

I am afraid key word is perforation. If you can not put your finger through it it's just surface rust.:eek:
